TEKBIR
Turkish Sufi Soundscapes series explores an evolving sonic universe crafted from fragments of instruments and chants drawn from Turkish Sufi recordings. These sacred compositions—a deep spiritual synthesis of Turkish culture and Islam—are reimagined through new musical expressions. Building upon classical makam structures and hypnotic dhikr motifs, the series transforms this spiritual heritage into a transcendent experience.
This opening circle of the series is inspired by Itrî’s immortal masterpiece, Segâh Tekbir — a timeless reflection of the Oneness.
