Shahmaran draws inspiration from the ancient Anatolian legend of the Serpent Queen, a symbol of hidden wisdom and transformation. Infused with exotic textures and ritualistic rhythms, this work merges Eastern mysticism with Jungian archetypes of shadow, anima, and rebirth, forming a sonic bridge between the mythic and the psychological. Through this fusion, Shahmaran becomes a passage into the depths of the unconscious — where myth speaks in the language of the soul.
An Epic Journey of Transformation
From the silent depths, a call rises,
drawing the hero beyond the walls of the ordinary world.
He steps into the caverns of the unconscious,
where shadows linger,
and hidden fears whisper in the dark.
Each corner holds a trial,
each shadow, a secret of the self.
There, he meets the shadow—
terrifying yet transformative.
The parts of himself once denied,
repressed, or forgotten,
now emerge into the light of awareness.
In the cavern’s deepest hollow, a light glimmers:
the female face of Shahmaran,
anima and guide,
soul and intuition intertwined.
Together they dance,
a rhythm of the inner feminine flowing into consciousness,
gentle, yet unstoppable,
awakening transformation in its wake.
Opposites converge, divisions dissolve,
life and death, shadow and light,
fear and healing entwined in sacred union.
The psyche blooms into wholeness,
masculine and feminine energies harmonized,
consciousness embraced by the unconscious.
From this union springs the elixir of life,
a gift of wisdom and healing,
the soul’s very transformation.
The hero returns,
renewed and whole,
bearing the gift,
ready to pour it into the world.
